Jim O’Donnell is the president and founder of O’Donnell Communications. Jim has more than 40 years of experience working with a wide range of clients, from major corporations and government entities to smaller not-for-profit agencies. His experience extends to all areas of marketing, communications, and public relations.
Prior to launching O’Donnell Communications in 1992, Jim spent 15 years with a Fortune 50 corporation, where he served as senior vice president for public relations and public affairs, including all internal and external communications, community affairs, trade shows and special events and corporate philanthropy. Previously, he also had responsibility for marketing the firm’s mortgage product line in 10 Southeastern U.S. states.
A graduate of Duke University and the University of Missouri – St. Louis, Jim is also actively involved in the community. He has served on the boards of the St. Louis Zoo Friends, Boys & Girls Town of Missouri, and the St. Louis Priory School Advisors, and as a member of the Community Advisory Board of Junior League of St. Louis.
